Artist Residence is featured in Cornwall Life April 2011 - 'Living and Breathing Art'

Word is spreading around about our unique Art Hotel on Chapel Street, Penzance! Cornwall Life, one of Cornwall's most popular magazines, have done a brilliant 4 page spread in their arts For Arts Sake pages, including lots of photos of our contemporary hotel rooms. A BIG Thank You to the 8 truly talented artists and designers that made the Artist Residence Hotel and Gallery, Penzance project a reality!

Urban artist Pinky Vision's Room 5 at Artist Residence Hotel and Gallery, Penzance - one of the 8 spectacular 'Sleep in a Gallery' Rooms

Young up and coming artist, Ben Gray, furnished Room 8 with his trendy 'up-cycled' painted furniture - an eco-friendly hotel room with a twist. We LOVE recycling!

Rachel Ella Taylor's (founder of Ephemeral OpulenceRoom 3 is beautifully ornate, perfect for that Cornish romantic getaway! Whilst Jo Peel's urban street style Room 4 certainly has that WOW factor! Did anyone spot the pirate on top of the Admiral Benbow? You have now! 

St. Ives artist Muju World with paintbrush in hand, ready to add an explosion of colour to his fantastic sea-scape mural that adorns the walls of Room 7 - with his popular Kernow print popping out from the painted walls. 

In between Pinky Vision's peaceful dove rests above the bed, guaranteeing a restful and relaxing holiday in Cornwall. 

Sinead Geary's (Founder of Dolly Divine) characterful fabric design nestles next to a sweep of butterflies, collected vintage pictures and old photographs of romantic bygone era's in the magnificent Master Bedroom 2
