Falmouth Oyster Festival 2011 - A Celebrations of Cornish Seafood


October 2011 means it's that time of year again for the Falmouth Oyster Festival .... mmmm YUM YUM

Celebrating the start of the oyster dredging season, the Falmouth Oyster Festival (13th - 16th October 2011) is a fantastic 4 days of fun and delicious Cornish food! 

The Cookery Master Class


Each year, a cookery master-class from a celebrity chef, followed by a book signing opens the festival. Packed with cookery demonstrations by leading local Cornish Chefs, oysters, seafood, wine and local ale, childrens shell painting, sea shanties, a town parade, live music, an oyster shucking competition, a Falmouth Working Boat race and marquees brimming with Cornish produce, the Falmouth festival is a must for all oyster, seafood and maritime enthusiasts!
