Recipe of the Week - The Sandwich

Celebrity Chef Gizzi Erksine's delicious recipe for Smoked Salmon, avacado and brie on rye bread proves that sandwiches need not to be boring!!  Well, they need not to be if you fill them with exciting ingredients and experiment with different types of bread!


INGREDIENTS                     METHOD
2 pieces of seeded rye bread                             Lay the two pieces of bread out on the kitchen
1 tsp of butter, optional                                     surface and spread each with the butter. Lay on the 
50g smoked salmon                                          smoked salmon and avacado, then squeeze with 
2 slices of ripe brie cheese                                lemon. Top with Brie and then sprinkle with poppy  
1/2 avacado, sliced                                           seeds and a good grinding of black pepper. 
A squeeze of lemon                                          Belissimo!
1/2 tsp poppy seeds

NOW THAT'S WHAT WE CALL A SANDWICH!
